Galaxy S6 may pack a totally different camera than originally thought

Most of the rumors leading up to the Galaxy S6 introduction on March 1 have suggested that Samsung is going to equip the phone with a 20-megapixel camera. Those rumors may turn out to be false, according to a new report from SamMobile that suggests Samsung has different plans entirely.
SamMobile said Friday that Samsung had been testing a prototype with a 20-megapixel camera but that it can “now confirm” that Samsung has instead decided to pack the device with a 16-megapixel Sony IMX240 module. That’s the same sensor Samsung outfitted the Galaxy Note 4 with. Samsung has been teasing major camera advancements, however, and SamMobile says it’s still possible the company will follow through on those promises with the introduction of software and “considerable tweaks to the camera lens.” Remember, earlier this month a Samsung exec said the camera will snap “amazing pictures.”
The Galaxy Note 4 camera is really solid, so this isn’t necessarily bad news, particularly if Samsung tweaks its software so that the performance is better than ever. Still, for folks who were hoping for super high-res images that are larger than what a 16-megapixel camera is capable of snapping, it could be a bit off putting.

Samsung Galaxy S10+ review (king of andriod)

Summary The Galaxy S10+ is exactly what you’d expect out of Samsung’s tenth flagship handset. After all, the company’s been making these for a decade, and knows what works. The S10+ is a winning mix of powerful performance, long-lasting battery, stunning display and capable cameras. There’s also a welcome software overhaul and the ability to wirelessly charge compatible devices, making this a surprisingly useful handset. You’ll have to live with minor quirks like an inconsistent fingerprint sensor, lousy AR emoji and a subpar digital assistant, but none of those keep the S10+ from being an ultimately superb phone Displays One of my biggest questions going into this review was whether I'd be bothered by the "hole punch" display or if I'd get used to it over time. I go back and forth on this, and that's probably because the cutout for the camera only bothers me in specific instances. On the home screen, or in apps like Uber o...

New Google Wallet reportedly planned to take on Apple Pay

New Google Wallet reportedly planned to take on Apple Pay Google Wallet was one of the first mainstream mobile payment options in the United States, but the launch was marred by lack of broad carrier support initially. A competing platform, SoftCard, may have been partially to blame; it’s a service developed by AT&T, T-Mobile and Verizon that competes directly with Google Wallet. Now, facing stiff competition from Apple Pay, Google is looking to revamp its Wallet initiatives with a new version,  The Wall Street Journal  said Friday. Google is apparently hoping to relaunch Google Wallet during Google I/O in May, the news outlet said.  The Wall Street Journal  explains a few of the reasons why Google will continue to face headwinds, however, including Samsung’s new acquisition of LoopPay. With its own service on the horizon, Samsung may not be as quick to adopt Google’s option. “A person familiar with the Samsung-LoopPay deal said big smartphone makers...

Huawei P30 release date

The Huawei P30 and Huawei P30 Pro are set to be the next flagship smartphones from the Chinese brand, which has gone from strength to strength in recent years. The Huawei P20 and Huawei P20 Pro rivaled the likes of the Galaxy S9, Galaxy S9 Plus, Pixel 3 XL and new iPhones, and the P30 duo (or potentially trio) will certainly have the Galaxy S10 and Galaxy S10 Plus in their sights. We say potentially trio, as Apple launched three new phones back in September, and Samsung did the same in February, so we wouldn't be surprised if Huawei followed suit with a new trio of its own under the P30 name. Huawei has even teased the arrival of the handsets, with a video posted on Twitter confirming the March 26 launch date for the "P30 series" - suggesting we'll definitely see more than one phone with the P30 name attached to it.
