OnePlus has released a couple of Stagefright fixes for Oxygen OS which are meant to target OnePlus 2 and OnePlus One smartphones. The Android 5.1.1 update takes 645MB of space and will fix several security problems.

Recently, Android 5.1.1 Lollipop update for the OnePlus One was rolled back after it was found that there were some significant problems with it and the OnePlus One owners experienced serious problems with their smartphones, according to Master Herald.

According to previous reports, about 2% of the OnePlus One users have been able to get the latest operating system version.

Luckily, CyanogenMod developers have released a new version of CM12.1 custom ROM particularly aimed at OnePlus One smartphone. It comes with performance improvements and extra security fixes and fixes all problems from the previous build.
Furthermore, the latest build addresses the Stagefright exploit, which is a serious security vulnerability that was found in Android that enables hackers to compromise a device easily and get access to parts of its OS.

OnePlus One owners need to approach the flashing procedure with the custom ROM very carefully. Users should read the compatibility notes and instructions carefully, Furthermore, the procedure needs rooting of the handset. A rooted Android device gives the owners several options for using the operating system to its full capacity.

CyanogenMod is advisable to owners who are comfortable with modifying their smartphones and getting access to lower layers of the OS

Samsung teases 'amazing' camera in new flagship phONE

Samsung teases 'amazing' camera in new flagship phone A month ago, I wrote about the iPhone's camera and how instrumental it is to many of the things that make that bestselling device so appealing. Today, Apple's most direct competitor, Samsung, has reiterated its long history of developing cameraphones and promised to deliver nothing less than "the future of cameras." In a post by Samsung's camera R&D chief DongHoon Jang, the company promises its 2015 flagship phone "will be intelligent and do all the thinking for users, allowing them to take amazing pictures under any conditions, without having to worry about anything more than just pressing the shutter button." Imaging technology has been a traditional strength for Samsung's flagship smartphones, and the latest Galaxy Note 4 has marked an appreciable upgrade after a couple of years of relative stagnation in image quality. Now Samsung seems intent to step things up another not...

Huawei P30 release date

The Huawei P30 and Huawei P30 Pro are set to be the next flagship smartphones from the Chinese brand, which has gone from strength to strength in recent years. The Huawei P20 and Huawei P20 Pro rivaled the likes of the Galaxy S9, Galaxy S9 Plus, Pixel 3 XL and new iPhones, and the P30 duo (or potentially trio) will certainly have the Galaxy S10 and Galaxy S10 Plus in their sights. We say potentially trio, as Apple launched three new phones back in September, and Samsung did the same in February, so we wouldn't be surprised if Huawei followed suit with a new trio of its own under the P30 name. Huawei has even teased the arrival of the handsets, with a video posted on Twitter confirming the March 26 launch date for the "P30 series" - suggesting we'll definitely see more than one phone with the P30 name attached to it. Apple Has Released iOS 8.1.3

Apple Has Released iOS 8.1.3 Sit down, connect to Wi-Fi and back up your phone: it’s time to update. Apple on Tuesday released iOS 8.1.3, introducing a slew of new big fixes, enhancements and other new updates. This is very incremental in nature, which means you shouldn’t expect a completely new experience. What you can expect, however, is a much smoother, stable experience—and hopefully one that doesn’t crash and break every few minutes. Today’s update to iOS 8.1.3 is available for all devices running iOS 8, including the iPhone 4s and up, iPad 2 and up and the fifth generation iPod touch. According to the “Learn More” tab of the update, iOS 8.1.3 includes: Reduces the amount of storage required to perform a software update Fixes an issue that prevented some users from entering their Apple ID password for Messages and FaceTime Addresses an issue that caused Spotlight to stop displaying app results Fixes an issue which prevented multitasking gestures from working on iP...
